Up until the day of the wedding he was extremely communicative and flexible. He made planning so easy and fun. The day of the wedding he was so upbeat and kept everyone dancing all night. Joey made our wedding fun and exciting for everyone. His energy, enthusiasm, and genuine love for being a DJ made our wedding phenomenal. Our friends and family all commented on what a great DJ we had found. Joey is not just a DJ – he makes you feel like you have known him your entire life. He is just as excited as you are to be getting married. He really made us feel special and he rocked the wedding. Never once did he play a song people didn’t wasn’t to sing or dance to. His “Love Story” touched everyone’s heart and was one of our favorite parts of the wedding. I have already told my two younger sisters that Joey will be their wedding present from Andrew and me when they get married. Thank you so much!
JAY WAS AMAZING! Before our event he was very easy to communicate with through email. Always responded quickly and was helpful. He fully understood our personalities and the atmosphere we were going for. He was accommodating so much so that he watched a TV show we asked him to watch so he would understand how we wanted to be introduced. He was funny, professional, prompt, kept the flow moving and was not corny (my biggest fear with DJs). I am sad our wedding is over because now it means we won’t have Jay reaching out to us- honestly he became one of our friends through this because he was that awesome! Everyone should use Jay!
We had a great experience having Joey as our DJ and he did everything we expected. His price was what he said it would be. His sense of humor attracted us and we love that he’s down-to-earth. Also, we kept in mind the importance of him being the owner of Main Event and his past experience. I would say the best part of having Joey as our DJ would be his energetic attitude. We would highly recommend him, in fact we already have friends who are interested!
At our reception, he did a light show, bubbles, props and line dances. We continue to hear comments from friends and family that our reception was so much fun and that they had such a good time. It feels so good to hear that. We know Joey was such a huge part of making our wedding day memorable for not only us but for our guests.
Ricky, just wanted to thank you for doing such an amazing job at our wedding. We can’t begin to tell you how many people complimented on what a great DJ you are! DJ Lloyd was amazing! He really kept the party going for us, we had a small wedding and he really kept it so bumping! From the first phone call to the last dance of the night he was amazing! He also played all my Taylor songs🤍🤍!

My husband and I hired Tom Darling for our wedding on 9/30/23. Tom was such a pleasure to work with, incredibly kind and super fun! He did such an amazing job keeping the party going and reading the crowd. He was also super accommodating and did everything he could to make our day special! We loved his work and would absolutely recommend him to other brides.
Ken was excellent! Incredible crowd work, he used lots of fun tricks and techniques to keep people dancing! Couldn’t have asked for anything better for our wedding.
Loved how chill and organized Brien was, he made sure everything flowed smoothly and we spent the whole night dancing!!
DJ Tim was awesome! We’ve been receiving so many compliments from our wedding guests on how awesome he was, dinner was perfect, and after that the dance floor was packed and it didn’t stop until the lights went on and the music stopped. The only complaint we received was that the night had to end and the music had to stop! Everybody had a blast and we have Tim to thank for that!!!
DJ was excellent! The sound during the ceremony was perfect! Not too loud, and not too soft. We had wanted an organist, but Adam made sure we did not miss having one. This continued through the whole night. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. No one wanted to leave. We’d recommend him to anyone – and already have! Thank you Adam for making our wedding such a success!!!
Tim from Main Event Entertainment was our DJ. He met with us a few times before the wedding and I was confident everything would go as planned and it did! The songs he chose were fun to dance to and sounded great. Thanks so much Tim for helping to make our day so amazing!!

I attended a wedding this past weekend that Joey Dion was DJing. What a great time!! He was so creative and so much fun!! At no point was he on “auto-pilot”. At one point, in one of the speeches, someone mentioned listening to Bone Thugs N Harmony when they were young, and as they finished the speech, he started playing “Crossroads”. Such a riot!! Everyone got a kick out of it!! He was so involve and kept the dance floor full all night. I’ve never been to an event where a DJ could read a crowd so well. Always full of surprises and had us laughing all night. Thanks for a great time Joey!!
We had a great experience with Kelly Elliott as our DJ, she was personable, easy to work with and most importantly of all she played great music. She was a great emcee and did a great job of getting people dancing! She customized our wedding party entrance and guided us in creating our timeline. Our day was effortless and flowed nicely. We had a great time getting to know Joey and how the process works at Main Event Entertainment. We appreciated getting walked through the process so we know what to expect with future appointments. My wife and I got married on October 14, 2023. DJ Dan Pelletier was a fantastic wedding DJ! He made the dancing at our wedding night extremely fun and memorable for everyone. My wife and I had a fantastic time on the dancefloor thanks to DJ Dan’s musical choices and our guests are still reminiscing on what a fun time the dancing was. He let us have some “must-have requests” and played some guests requests. Dan also did a great job keeping our timeline on track, directing guests, and general wedding logistics. DJ Dan is thoughtful, professional, and an all-around terrific DJ. Highly recommend!

Our wedding was yesterday and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! Tim Bruneau was such a pleasure to meet and work with. Our pre-wedding meeting was easy and thorough. Day of, everything went exactly as planned!! The dance floor was so hype, the music we chose was all cued at the right times, and he was continually checking in with us (very appropriately) before any “bigger” moments to make sure it was exactly how we had hoped. Going through the pictures after have made us laugh for day! Being so busy you don’t always get to enjoy the little silly moments and having this album to share and look back on has been amazing!!! Would highly recommend this company. We’re still getting complements on how many props there were and how large the actual booth itself was!
The event was very well put together! Having the DJs come to us made it so comfortable and all of the DJs we spoke with were great. The Photobooth was amazing and everyone we encountered as soon as we entered the building was incredible. Truly a 10/10 experience that felt so personal and professional.
Adam was our DJ for our 02/10/24 wedding. He was the central piece of our party! As we were planning the wedding, he took the time to get to know us via a zoom call to discuss the details. He helped us make music decisions in places we were really stuck, and helped bring our dreams to reality. He kept everyone engaged and our dance floor was packed all night! DJ Jay Malette was fantastic to work with! He was very communicative and flexible throughout the entire process of planning and onsite…he was reliable, professional and fun and mixed up the best playlist of our favorites (also taking requests from our guests) throughout the night! I wish we could do it all over again!
Dan Pelletier was unbelievable, my wife and I are more than satisfied with his professionalism from the first time we met him up to the completion of our wedding. We used Adam as our DJ and couldn’t have be happier. People were dancing all night. He knew the perfect music to play. He came up to us multiple times during the night to keep us informed on the order of things and what we needed to start thinking about. He was super nice and very accessible. We were thrilled with the outcome of both our ceremony and reception music!
DJ Matt is the BEST! Not only was communication so easy and thorough, he has a great personality and is so talented. I’m a wedding photographer, so I see a lot of weddings and had no doubt in my mind that I wanted Main Event to be part of my day. Matt had the dance floor packed, was so kind to my family/guests, and has a great set up that suits every space. 10/10 would recommend – Main Event has it down!
DJ Kelly Elliott was phenomenal! We received so many compliments during the reception about how she was doing with her music selection! She knew how to get as many people up and dancing as possible. Kelly walked us through every step of the planning process and made sure we didn’t forget any songs that we needed to choose for any part of our big day. She was respectable, polite and very personable. Highly recommended.
Jay made every step of the planning process as easy as possible. He did research on the songs & artists I requested, and it showed. He listened to every single question Clare & I had, and answered them in the quickest fashion. He was on time, if not early, and he was courteous to all the guests. 11/10 for Jay! He even helped to find a song for Clare & I to do our duet! During the reception, he kept things rolling, and fun at the same time! The games were a great suggestion from him, they were a HIT! The music during the reception was awesome, and he RAN the dance floor with the jams. Would recommend to everybody, forever. Cheers!

DJ Dan was INCREDIBLE– from helping to plan our music, to understanding our wedding timeline, communication and day-of he was so great, especially with making sure the sound at the ceremony was perfect, (we had no electricity there either) and the dance floor was NEVER empty, it was perfect.
Joey was awesome! We’ve received so many compliments about how great the music was and how everyone wanted to be out on the dance floor for the entire time! Our wedding reception was a blast!

The service was incredible. Kevin was so wonderful. He really helped us with the flow of the evening. He really took charge but always stopped to ask us questions so we got what we wanted. Kelly did an amazing job with all of our music choices throughout the ceremony, entrances, dinner, and reception. It’s so hard to keep on top of things during your own wedding, especially the timeline without looking at a clock, and Kelly made sure everything went according to plan. She was on the ball with what was happening next, even when we were overwhelmed with the chaos of the day. She was right there with the flowers we were presenting to my aunt for her birthday and brought them over to us for a quick transition to keep things moving. And she did an awesome job of going with the flow (but also checking in with us) when the timeline of the day didn’t quite go according to plan and rolling with plan B. Everyone had fun and we can’t thank her enough.
Rick, I just wanted to thank you again for doing such a wonderful job for us on Saturday. Everyone at the wedding had a wonderful time and said that they had never danced so much before. Main Event was a fantastic vendor to work with, great communication, organized, professional. Our DJ, Matt Perez, killed it! Our conversations prior to the wedding were great and he was very helpful in helping us pick all the right music, including some suggestions for the ceremony/special events. The dance floor was full all night, all ages guests! Matt also took great care of other details above and beyond his role. His equipment was professional and looked great in the space. Very happy and would recommend if you are looking for an fun event! Everyone had a great time and multiple people said Best DJ ever!
Just wanted to give you some feedback from our wedding held on 5/5/12. DJ Ken Dionne did a fantastic job. He was most accommodating, taking special requests (and surprise songs). Our wedding was a great time (even though we will have to see the video to recall it all). Our guests raved that this was the best, most fun wedding reception they had been to.
