My husband and I hired Tom Darling for our wedding on 9/30/23. Tom was such a pleasure to work with, incredibly kind and super fun! He did such an amazing job keeping the party going and reading the crowd. He was also super accommodating and did everything he could to make our day special! He was equally as energetic! I wanted to send a message to say how much we loved Adam Blackstock. My daughter and her new husband had an awesome time at their reception. Adam made the wedding serive and reception flow flawlessly. We all especially loved when he gave the kids blow up guitars and played Spongebob Squarepants. Adam was very attentive to my daughter and son in law to how they wanted the evening to progress. My wide and I couldn’t be happier. We would recommend Adam for any event.

I attended a wedding this past weekend that Joey Dion was DJing. What a great time!! He was so creative and so much fun!! At no point was he on “auto-pilot”. At one point, in one of the speeches, someone mentioned listening to Bone Thugs N Harmony when they were young, and as they finished the speech, he started playing “Crossroads”. Such a riot!! Everyone got a kick out of it!! He was so involve and kept the dance floor full all night. I’ve never been to an event where a DJ could read a crowd so well. Always full of surprises and had us laughing all night. Thanks for a great time Joey!!

We had a great experience having Joey as our DJ and he did everything we expected. His price was what he said it would be. His sense of humor attracted us and we love that he’s down-to-earth. Also, we kept in mind the importance of him being the owner of Main Event and his past experience. I would say the best part of having Joey as our DJ would be his energetic attitude. We would highly recommend him, in fact we already have friends who are interested!
At our reception, he did a light show, bubbles, props and line dances. We continue to hear comments from friends and family that our reception was so much fun and that they had such a good time. It feels so good to hear that. We know Joey was such a huge part of making our wedding day memorable for not only us but for our guests.

Matt did an amazing job at our wedding. He was polite, courteous and did everything we had discussed at our meetings. We asked for a couple changes last minute and he was so calm and amazing about it. He was fun and all our guests made comments on how terrific our dj was and asked us where we found him so if they needed an entertainer they could look him up, they loved him. We heard about Mike from my cousins best friend who was roommates with Mike. We immediately put him on our list of people to check out. As fate would have it Mike was at multiple wedding shows we went to but we never got the chance to meet and talk. Later we got an email from Main Event about dj “speed dating” and decided to check it out in hopes Mike would be there. He wasn’t. But it wasn’t a wasted trip because meeting everyone else solidified that it was the company we wanted to work with. We made it official with Mike as our dj and met at our details meeting. Mike was so thorough in going over all of the important details to us and making sure our day would be perfect. Flash forward to the day of… Mike was phenomenal! We’ve gotten so many compliments on the atmosphere he created, how friendly he was, and kept the crowd going all night long. He was kind enough to walk us through the buffet line and make a plate for me. It’s clear that his passion is not just music but connecting with people and making magic happen on the dance floor.
One of the perks of using our wedding venue (Granite Rose in Hampstead, NH) is they include a DJ through Main Event Entertainment in our chosen package. We were given a worksheet to fill out with our music preferences, and Main Event Entertainment paired us with the perfect DJ, DJ Lloyd Mnaphi. The week before the wedding, we had an opportunity to speak with Lloyd. During this conversation we were able to go over all the details of the day and voice any opinions or concerns. Lloyd was very knowledgeable, easy going and funny and by the end of the phone call, we looked forward to having him be our DJ on the big day. Then the big day came and Lloyd did an incredible job! He made sure to check in with us and made sure everyone partied the night away. Once the event was over, we had numerous people approach us asking if we knew Lloyd before the wedding or if he was recommended. Many people were shocked to hear that he was assigned to us by Main Event Entertainment after only reviewing our worksheet. We would highly recommend Main Event Entertainment and Lloyd to people looking for a DJ or getting married at Granite Rose!
Where do I even begin… Kevin Sawler made our wedding perfect! He was the master of our night and truly made our vision of dancing under the stars come true. Kevin took the time to meet with us over zoom (COVID Style) and answered all our questions and made sure he had all the information he needed to make our day perfect. His clear tone over the mic, his song choices and overall set up are a 10 out of 10! My dad was so impressed with Kevin and still talks about how much fun he had on the dance floor. Kevin, thank you for playing Thunderstruck by ACDC. So many memories were created and we are so thankful that we picked you.
Ken was excellent! He did exactly what we asked of him. He was upbeat, entertaining, fun and kept everyone dancing and having a great time. We would highly recommend him to anyone, he was awesome! We couldn’t have picked a better DJ!

We’ve been receiving so many compliments from our wedding guests on how awesome he was, dinner was perfect, and after that the dance floor was packed and it didn’t stop until the lights went on and the music stopped. I am not sure I can adequately explain how thrilled not only my husband and I were, but since the event I’ve had numerous phone calls full of praise him. Jay was the DJ for my combined 70th birthday and retirement party and we had asked for fairly specific artists, as the crowd was a bit older than what you would typically find at a wedding. However, the way Jay spun those tunes and the dancing on the floor, you would have thought you were in fact at a wedding! What a party! What a FABULOUS time! Over and above that, Jay is personable, knowledgeable and very professional and fun! I know we would hire him again in a heartbeat and I’m pretty sure some of the guests have his contact information. You won’t be disappointed going with Jay!
We used Adam as our DJ and couldn’t have be happier. People were dancing all night. He knew the perfect music to play. He came up to us multiple times during the night to keep us informed on the order of things and what we needed to start thinking about. He was super nice and very accessible. We were thrilled with the outcome of both our ceremony and reception music!

Our wedding was yesterday and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! Tim Bruneau was such a pleasure to meet and work with. Our pre-wedding meeting was easy and thorough. Day of, everything went exactly as planned!! The dance floor was so hype, the music we chose was all cued at the right times, and he was continually checking in with us (very appropriately) before any “bigger” moments to make sure it was exactly how we had hoped. Everyone had such a blast at our reception. Im so thankful and glad we chose A Main Event DJs to help us with our big day, especially that we chose Tim! Kelly did an amazing job with all of our music choices throughout the ceremony, entrances, dinner, and reception. It’s so hard to keep on top of things during your own wedding, especially the timeline without looking at a clock, and Kelly made sure everything went according to plan. She was on the ball with what was happening next, even when we were overwhelmed with the chaos of the day. She was right there with the flowers we were presenting to my aunt for her birthday and brought them over to us for a quick transition to keep things moving. And she did an awesome job of going with the flow (but also checking in with us) when the timeline of the day didn’t quite go according to plan and rolling with plan B. Everyone had fun and we can’t thank her enough.
Meghan was absolutely wonderful! It was such a pleasure having her DJ our wedding! We will recommend her to our friends who are getting married.

Joey was amazing!! We are still getting compliments on how great the DJ was! He played a great variety of music and he knew what music got the crowd going! Everyone including my 80 year old grandparents were up on the dance floor with their hands up! He went above and beyond and made our wedding day one we will never forget. He was involving the crowd, played the music we asked for and I can honestly say we do not have one bad thing to say! I would hire him again and again and again. I have recommended him to all my friends who are getting married. The BEST DJ, I promise you that!

If you can, book Tom Darling as your DJ; you certainly will not regret it! He was so easy to collaborate with, professional, personable, and so much fun. He took our playlist and used it perfectly while still adding in lots of music to get everybody out on the dance floor. People said to us after the wedding that they usually never spend that much time dancing! To top off his professionalism, he even drove home one of our guests who was without a ride at the end of the night. Such a gentleman! My husband and I can’t recommend him highly enough! We had Tom Darling as our DJ and he was awesome! Super nice and always seemed to know what song to play. His plethora of music genres kept the night going to the very end (literally.. our venue basically had to kick us out we wouldn’t stop dancing when our time was up).

Our DJ Brien Lafferty was AMAZING! He had the best energy and played such a great variety of music as we had people of all different ages at our wedding. People are still talking about how great the music at our wedding was.! He listened to all of our requests for the songs we wanted in our ceremony introductions, and all of our important dances. His personality completely fit with our wedding guest and really made the entire night a blast.! We couldn’t have asked for a better fit for what we envisioned for our wedding night and highly recommend him for any event you are planning. We will definitely be booking him again for future events we will be hosting!

Dan Pelletier was such a great DJ for our graduate school formal. He was sure to take our song requests without question. There was not a single song we did not like, and everyone had so much fun dancing and singing along. His attention to reading the crowd at times during dinner and when everyone was done eating with regards to song selection were spot on, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was also prepared prior to the event start, which was so calming and reassuring to the event coordinators. We will definitely be contacting him for future events.
Ken was an excellent DJ! We can tell he worked hard to pronounce everyone’s names correctly and to get to know who each member of the bridal party was. His positivity and energy made every part of the wedding fun and run smoothly. He played all of the songs we requested during the ceremony at the correct times and he incorporated almost all (I wasn’t on the dance floor the whole time because I was mingling so I missed a few) of the songs we requested during the reception. Our guests loved how he started off open dancing with a picture and an oath to party all night! Throughout the night we had people of all different generations out on the dance floor which was our goal. Ken did a great job catering to all of our guests and kept the party going! We would absolutely recommend him for anyone who wants a FUN wedding!

DJ Dan was INCREDIBLE– from helping to plan our music, to understanding our wedding timeline, communication and day-of he was so great, especially with making sure the sound at the ceremony was perfect, (we had no electricity there either) and the dance floor was NEVER empty, it was perfect.
JAY WAS AMAZING! Before our event he was very easy to communicate with through email. Always responded quickly and was helpful. He fully understood our personalities and the atmosphere we were going for. He was accommodating so much so that he watched a TV show we asked him to watch so he would understand how we wanted to be introduced. He was funny, professional, prompt, kept the flow moving and was not corny (my biggest fear with DJs). I am sad our wedding is over because now it means we won’t have Jay reaching out to us- honestly he became one of our friends through this because he was that awesome! Everyone should use Jay!
